Escape Room

Escape Room is a prototype I developed in Unreal Engine 5, where I implemented various game mechanics and interactions essential to the escape room puzzle co-op experience.

To ensure intuitive controls and efficient communication mechanics for co-op gameplay, I integrated proxy voice chat, a ping system, and tool inspection mechanics for picking up and dropping items.

As the team lead and prototype director, I led a team of two programmers and a 3D modeler. My background in architecture design made it easy for me to utilize the 3D level designing tools effectively.

For collaborative game design documentation, I used Notion, and for project management and issue tracking, we relied on GitHub.

We utilized EOS with the advanced session plugin for Steam to handle the online aspects, ensuring the replication system worked seamlessly.
